New Arrivals

I've finally received my Lime Crime lipsticks in the mail and could not be happier! In these pictures, I'm wearing COSMOPOP which is my new favorite orange lipstick. In the mail I also received my new Disco Glam sunnies from Free People that I adore so much. I normally don't like to purchase sunglasses online, but I've been looking for a big cat eye pair for so long, especially in tortoise and I could not pass these ones up!

Last night, my mom and I spent a (much needed) mother daughter evening shopping at the outdoor Spectrum in Irvine where I got this spectacular denim jacket from one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie! I thought it was just so unique and I loved the cool collar and drawstring. Best part... it was the last one...and an x-small...and was only $9.95... such a steal!! My mom got some super cute boho-indie slouchy sweaters that she's going to look so great in. It was getting chilly that night so right after we made our purchases, we asked the cashier to cut off the tags so we could wear our jackets out the store!

These orange sandals were also one of my purchases from last night. They stood out so obvious in the store that I had to have them. They feel like summer and match my neon toes so well! :)

Handbag Update

I have so many spectacular handbags that I can't wait to post on my Etsy shop! This is just one of the bags that I have yet to put up. Stay posted! Things are slowly but surely being uploaded!

Space Nails!

My Monday night turned into a beauty night where I turned my nails from drab to fab! I thought I would try something new, and after watching this YouTube video, I knew I had to try space nails. I love love love doing my nails, especially fun projects like this! It's a nice homework break and stress reliever; it lets your mind focus on one thing for a period of time and you can go back to doing your homework anew!

I started with a basic black coat. A matte black polish will work best for space nails. I just used whatever black I had laying around! Let the black dry completely before next step.

Cut a few small squares of paper towel and brush a small bit of polish onto the square. Then dab the paper towel square onto the tip of your nail. A holographic nail polish is best for this step. Try to go for a polish that changes colors when you hold it at different angles in the light like this one here. I used a holographic purple first, and then a holographic blue on top.

The final step is to add silver glitter polish and your top coat! You can use whatever kind of glitter polish you fancy. Try one that has different sized glitter pieces, that way they look more like stars that are near and far! :)

Bruxie + Beach Day

Ty and I ventured off to this cute little waffle shack for an early dinner. Such a fun change from our normal-food dinner dates! If your in the mood for a sweet dinner or even lunch, try a waffle sandwich and a milkshake from Bruxie! They had the best strawberry milkshake I've ever tasted!
(I attempted to make my phone pics look a little cooler since I didn't have a real cam ;)

We had some fun in the sun in Laguna Beach the day before :)
